May 15

Firefighters at 11:25 p.m. went to a Hancock Drive home for contents and a room on fire. They put out a fire in a laundry room.

May 16

Emergency medical technicians at 7:20 p.m. went to East End Road by Glacierview Church for a boy hurt in a bicycle accident. A private vehicle took the boy to South Peninsula Hospital and the call was cancelled.

May 17

EMTs at 9:06 p.m. went to the jail for a 53-year-old man with a medical emergency. They treated and transported the boy to the hospital.

May 18

Firefighters at 12:26 p.m. went to a three-acre grass and tree fire on West Thomas Road. State Forestry assisted and helped put out the fire. The scene was released to Forestry.

EMTs at 4:53 p.m. were dispatched to Bartlett Street for a report of a severely injured boy. Police found the boy and determined he wore makeup as a victim in an airport disaster drill exercise. The call was cancelled.

Firefighters at 5:21 p.m. went to a report of a fire on Kachemak Drive and found a control burn. They advised the landowner of the burn suspension and asked that the fire be put out.

Firefighters at 7:34 p.m. went to a bonfire out of control on Bishop's Beach below Ocean Shores Motel. Bystanders suppressed the 6-by-6 foot pile of burning driftwood and firefighters put out the fire. Firefighters also found and put out a second unattended camp fire.

Firefighters at 9:48 p.m. went to a quarter-acre grass fire on Clover Lane and put it out. The cause remains under investigation.

May 19

EMTs at 1:08 p.m. went to Ben Walters Lane for a 23-year-old man who had collapsed. They treated and transported him to the hospital.

Firefighters at 11:03 p.m. went to an unattended 5-by-5 foot camp fire on Ohlson Mountain Road. They put out the fire.
