Between the rows our flags and poppies wave in the breeze, an inspiration to all. Come join the American Legion in remembering and honoring those gallant men and women who fought and died in defense of our freedom, and to honor those who survived the many wars and conflicts that America has been involved in. America's veterans will never be forgotten as long as we remember to care. Bring your fishing pole, wear your old blue jeans, just come and remember. The 15-20 minute services are 10 a.m. at Hickerson Memorial Cemetery, Homer, noon at the Anchor Point Cemetery and 2 p.m. at the Ninilchik Cemetery.
Through our distribution of the poppy flower, we honor and remember with gratitude all veterans who paid the supreme sacrifice.
For God and country.
