The state Legislature needs to "get cooking" on the Bradley Lake hydroelectric project, says Sen. Ted Stevens, or Congress will not be able o act in time to meet the planned construction schedule.
Myriad paper flowers sprang from the walls and the old school piano sounded familiar notes at East Homer Elementary School as parents and children honored Paul Banks, a school custodian for 17 years, by naming the school after him.
