Julie Arneson, assistant station manager of the Frontier Flying Service office in Anchorage leads the three passengers off the first flight of new daily service from Anchorage to Homer on Monday. The 19-passenger twin-engine Beechcraft 1900s stop at the Smokey Bay Air terminal at the Kachemak Drive side of Homer Airport. Another new service is also planned when Island Air expects to start flying scheduled service between Kodiak and Homer three times a week, beginning June 4.
