Homer Alaska - Announcements

There will be a Discovery and Truths cruise of Kachemak Bay from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday with stops at Peterson Bay Field Station, Gull Island and lunch at Tutka Bay Lodge. The cruise is led by experts Martha Briscoe, E.E.; Janet Klein, author; Norah Rojek, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service; and Howard Weir, Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies naturalist. Tickets are $100 each and are available at the Homer Bookstore and the Pratt Museum. For reservations and information, call 235-8635. This trip is sponsored by the Patrons of the Pratt Society.
