May 7

A woman at 8:37 a.m. reported someone backed into and dented her Subaru on May 6.

A woman at 9:56 a.m. reported a hit-and-run driver struck her vehicle and tore off a side mirror while the car was parked at Pudgy's on East End Road.

A mental health counselor at 10:21 a.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a client he talked with on the phone and whom he believed might be suicidal.

A man at 9:57 p.m. reported a pickup parked on the grassy area of the storm berm at Mariner Park on the Spit.

Police at 11:47 p.m. arrested a 28-year-old man in front of Central Charters on the Spit for driving while intoxicated.

A man at 10:28 p.m. reported a man had been asked to leave Alice's Champagne Palace on Pioneer Avenue and that he stole a neon sign.

May 8

A woman at 6:23 p.m. reported a two-vehicle accident in the parking lot of Don Jose's on Pioneer Avenue. Police cited an 18-year-old man for a driver's license violation.

Police at 6:55 p.m. assisted the troopers in making an arrest regarding a temporary-restraining order violation at East Hill Road and Willow Street.

A man at 9:41 p.m. reported two young men speeding in a white Monte Carlo through town and running stop signs. Police could not locate the car.

May 9

An Anchor Point woman at 12:38 a.m. made three 911 calls asking for help regarding a domestic violence situation but could not provide her exact location. Police assisted troopers in responding.

A city worker at 10:08 a.m. reported damage to the men's room door and the snack-shack door at Karen Hornaday Park.

A woman at 7:45 p.m. reported finding a bike in the woods near Rainbow Court.

Police at 8:30 p.m. arrested a 20-year-old woman on a trooper warrant for failure to appear in court for arraignment on a minor consuming alcohol charge.

Police at 9:24 p.m. took a 54-year-old woman to the hospital.

Police at 9:49 p.m. received a report of loud music coming from a car parked in front of the Boys and Girls Club on the Sterling Highway. Police warned the registered owner of the car for disorderly conduct.

May 13

A woman at 5:30 p.m. reported a 14-year-old boy missing on his way home from Homer Middle School. The boy was found with a friend.

A woman at 6 p.m. reported four-wheelers being driven on the road between Kachemak Way and Fairview Avenue. Police could not locate them.

Police at 6:40 p.m. received several 911 calls regarding a collision between a station wagon and a moose at Williams and East End roads. No person was injured, but the moose did not survive the accident. A charity was called to collect the moose meat.

Police at 7:09 p.m. received several 911 calls of two vehicles being driven recklessly in the Bartlett Street area. One car went in and out of a ditch and was parked in a driveway on Soundview Avenue. Police arrested two 30-year-old men for reckless driving.

A woman at 11:02 p.m. reported her sister caused a disturbance in her Main Street yard.

Police at 11:58 p.m. received a report of dogs left in vehicles parked at Duggan's barking and being noisy.

May 14

A woman at 12:03 a.m. reported her sister came back and banged on the door of her Main Street home. She feared her sister would break down the door.
