Firefighters at 4:30 p.m. went to a beach fire below Oceanview RV Park on Bishop's Beach. They found a 6-by-6 foot pile of burning driftwood and put out the fire.

EMTs went to the Washboard on Ocean Drive for a 19-year-old woman with a medical emergency. They treated and transported her to the hospital.
