Hot work
Firefighters practice wildland fire suppression techniques Saturday in an East End Road field under the direction of Tim Yarbrough of the Homer Volunteer Fire Department. The training burn was organized by the Homer station of the state Division of Forestry, with Homer and Anchor Point firefighters participating.
