A man at 7:11 p.m. reported a car full of people driving fast on the Homer Spit and yelling out the windows and waving a flag. Police saw the car and determined by radar it wasn't speeding.

A man at 8:05 a.m. reported an abandoned vehicle at Karen Hornaday Park.
A school official at 10 a.m. reported theft of a student's boots from the Homer High School locker room.
A caller at 11:57 a.m. reported a drunk man threatening others with a baseball bat at a Ternview Place home. Police arrested a 43-year-old man for resisting arrest, driving under the influence, driving while license revoked and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
A man at 2:56 p.m. reported finding a boat trailer he had reported stolen earlier.
A man at 9:39 p.m. made a 911 call that his car was hit in a Sterling Highway parking lot by another car and the suspect drove away.

A man at 1 p.m. reported someone made unauthorized charges on his debit card.
A woman at 2:30 p.m. reported her young child found a pile of pornographic magazines.
A caller at 2:31 p.m. reported a man came to her door trying to sell an alarm system. Police contacted the man and told him to stop going door to door until he got an itinerant license.
A caller at 3:33 p.m. reported children throwing a ball across the roadway at East End Road near Ben Walters Lane. Police warned the children.

Police at 12:44 a.m. assisted Anchorage police by contacting the Homer parents of a missing juvenile.
A caller at 6:09 a.m. reported seeing smoke coming from a Calhoun Court home. Police responded and determined it was steam from a dryer vent.
A caller at 6:46 p.m. reported a wounded bird on the beach. Police notified the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
A man at 7:25 p.m. reported a burglary at a Main Street address.
Police at 7:22 p.m. helped Alaska State Troopers in locating a woman.

A caller at 2:11 a.m. reported several people fighting in the street on Kramer Lane. Police arrested a 28-year-old man for assault.
A man at 3:45 a.m. asked police to check on his wife who he thought was drunk at a local restaurant.
A man at 2:14 p.m. reported he couldn't find his wife after they argued at a grocery store. Police found the woman and she was OK.
A man at 3:46 p.m. reported a person on probation drove while license suspended.
A caller at 4:14 p.m. reported an impaired woman drove away from the hospital. Police could not find the woman.
A man at 8:48 p.m. reported a person selling drugs. A juvenile suspect was released to a parent.
A person at 9:23 p.m. made a 911 call that a woman driving a car backed into his car. Police responded and cited a 62-year-old woman for failure to provide proof of insurance.
Police at 10:53 p.m. did a drug investigation. Police issued a summons to a 29-year-old man for marijuana possession.
May 7
Police at 1:44 a.m. stopped a 29-year-old man driving on East End Road and arrested him for DUI.
A man at 10:09 a.m. reported an assault that happened the night before.
A man at 11:24 a.m. reported he found items stolen from his and his neighbor's homes.
A woman in a wheelchair at 2:17 p.m. made a 911 call of loose dogs on Pioneer Avenue. Police determined the dogs were secured to a car and not aggressive. Police helped the woman get past the dogs.
A man at 5:32 pm. reported the back window of his car was broken out while parked on Beluga Place.
May 8
A woman at 3:05 a.m. reported people across the hall at an Old Town address threatened her. Police responded and gave everyone involved a disorderly conduct warning.
An innkeeper at 9:36 a.m. asked police to escort guests from an Old Town hotel due to their disruptive behavior.
A liquor store employee at 9:55 a.m. reported he refused to serve a drunk man who tried to buy alcohol at a Sterling Highway store and then drove away. Police located the suspect near a Pioneer Avenue liquor store and arrested a 53-year-old man for DUI, driving while license revoked, avoidance of an ignition interlock device, refusal to submit to a chemical test and numerous counts of violating conditions of release. Police also issued a clerk at the second liquor store a summons for a liquor law violation.
A woman at 4:50 p.m. reported parents threatened to beat a small child and then drove away from the Spit in a white SUV.
