A woman at 3:44 p.m. reported finding a dead moose behind her Lake Street home. Police advised the woman to call the Alaska Department of Fish & Game. A pretrial services officer at 4:44 p.m. reported a person violating conditions of release. Police took the person to the Homer Jail. A woman at 6:57 p.m. reported a dead moose in a Thompson Drive yard. A man at 7:58 p.m. reported an injured eagle in the Rogers Loop area. May 2 A woman at 9:34 a.m. reported her son acted violently at their Main Street home. Police responded. A woman at 9:17 a.m. reported an excessive amount of trash in the Forest Glen Road area. A caller at 12:35 p.m. reported a Fairview Avenue tenant was evicted and she had drug information. An employee at 1:06 p.m. reported a customer was belligerent and aggressive at a Lake Street business on May 1. A woman a 2:15 p.m. reported a stolen trailer. A woman at 10:27 p.m. made a 911 call of gunshots heard in the Main Street area. Police determined the call was unfounded. May 3 A caller at 5:14 a.m. reported a drunk man sleeping in a public building on Heath Street. Police responded and told the man to relocate. A man at 5:43 a.m. reported a man asleep in the hallway at a Ben Walters Lane building. Police contacted the man and told him to leave. A caller at 12:11 p.m. reported a fire hydrant on East End Road expelling water. Police notified Public Works. All was OK. A caller at 1:38 p.m. reported a campsite with a tent and waste materials on a beach at Mud Bay. The caller was concerned about the safety of birders and beach walkers in the area. A caller at 2:19 p.m. reported seeing a car suspected to be involved in a theft case on the Homer Spit. Police responded. A man at 2 p.m. reported he lost his backpack. A caller at 3:24 p.m. reported someone breaking into a car in the long term parking lot on Kachemak Drive. A woman at 6:41 p.m. reported the return of stolen property. A social worker at 6:13 p.m. reported a client hallucinating and a danger. Police and a mental health worker responded to a Lake Street address. Police at 9:20 p.m. served a search warrant. May 4 A caller at 12:21 a.m. reported a woman took a dog from a Bunnell Avenue address. A man at 3 a.m. reported a black Labrador retriever whose owner was unknown in the lobby of a Homer Spit business. A man at 11:15 a.m. reported a dead moose in the Ternview Place area. Police advised the man to call Fish & Game. Police at 11:27 a.m. arrested a 41-year-old man on a probation violation. A woman at 4:16 p.m. reported dogs chasing sandhill cranes in the Aurora Court area. A person at 5:04 p.m. made a 911 call of a suspicious woman in the Pioneer Avenue area. Police responded. A person at 5:07 p.m. made a 911 call of a construction accident on Reber Road. Police and EMTs responded and found a 57-year-old man dead. A caller at 7:39 p.m. reported a disturbance between two men on Ocean Drive. A woman at 9 p.m. turned in a set of keys found on West Hill Road near Highland Drive. May 5 A woman at 2:15 a.m. reported a drunk man at a Pioneer Avenue bar who refused to leave. A woman at 2:20 a.m. reported she needed help because she cant afford to pay her bills. A caller at 2:45 a.m. reported a man dressed all in black, drunk and staggering on Kachemak Drive. Police at 3:21 a.m. contacted a drunk woman lying on the sidewalk on Pioneer Avenue. Police took the woman into protective custody. A woman at 7:20 a.m. reported horses in the road on East End Road. A woman at 10:35 a.m. reported someone smashed the windshield of her car parked on Pioneer Avenue. A man at 12:42 p.m. reported a stolen computer. A caller at 2:31 p.m. reported an aggressive dog in her yard on Tamara Street. Police called the animal control officer. A woman at 11:05 p.m. asked police to do a welfare check on her. She said she didnt want to be taken to the hospital. May 6 A man at 9:30 a.m. turned in a found credit card. A woman at 4:20 p.m. made numerous calls to police and sounded disturbed. Police notified a mental health worker and also responded to the womans Lakeshore Drive home. The woman was taken to the hospital. A caller at 5:20 p.m. reported a 95-year-old man died at his Bartlett Street home. A woman at 8:53 p.m. reported a domestic dispute at a Cityview Avenue home. Police had the parties separated for the night. May 7 A woman at 2:45 a.m. made a 911 call that a man scared her and refused to leave a Pioneer Avenue address. Police responded and arrested a 50-year-old man on a probation violation.
