M's baseball season to begin

The Mariners baseball season begins this week, with a JV game in Soldotna last night against Cordova and a varsity matchup in Soldotna on Saturday.

The Saturday game against the Stars begins at 11 a.m. with a follow-up JV game against Soldotna slated for 2:30 p.m.

The M's first home game is scheduled for May 23 against Wasilla.
