The Homer Jackpot Halibut Derby has begun. Derby headquarters will be open from 5:30-8:30 a.m. beginning May 15, and a ticket boot at the top of the big boat ramp will be open from 6 a.m.-noon Thursday-Sunday beginning May 22. Call 235-7740.

The Business Breakfast Roundtable scheduled for May 13 has been canceled. The next roundtable will be in October.

There will be a chamber luncheon at noon May 13 at the Best Western Bidarka Inn. Lunch is $12 for chamber members and $14 for nonmembers.
