Classes

The Alaska Marine Safety Education Association will offer a U.S. Coast Guard approved fishing vessel safety and drill conductor course May 12-13 at the Best Western Bidarka Inn. The American Red Cross of Alaska will hold Disaster Response Training classes to teach community volunteers the necessary knowledge and skills to provide emergency relief at the scene of a disaster. Classes will be from 6-9 p.m. May 16 and from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. May 17 -18 at City Hall Council Chambers. Free. Call (907) 646-5401.
