Keeper receives grants




Cook Inletkeeper, the Homer based environmental organization, received two Alaska Clean Water Actions grants. A $32,724 grant helps support monitoring Bishop's Beach and two Anchor Point beaches for bacteria levels.

A $65,715 grants supports the Keeper's stream temperature monitoring network in Cook Inlet. Funding completes the fourth year of monitoring and begins fifth and sixth years.

Grants totaling $538,932 were awarded statewide.
