April 23

A woman at 8:11 a.m. complained that a husky-shepherd mix dog ran loose in the Meadow Drive area, enters her property and attacks her dog. She claimed this has been an ongoing problem.

Police at 4:48 p.m. received a report that teenagers rolled a Volkswagen dune buggy on the beach below the Elks Lodge. They righted the VW and no one was hurt.

A woman at 8:15 p.m. reported a young person climbed out the window of a moving Chevrolet station wagon on Kachemak Drive and rode on the luggage rack.

A ferry employee at 9:46 p.m. reported they refused passage on the Tustumena to two intoxicated men.

April 24

A Coast Guardsman at 12:51 a.m. reported two intoxicated men walking around in a restricted area of the docks.

A city employee at 9:56 a.m. reported someone plugged the Harbor restroom sink with candle wax again.

A woman at 10:39 a.m. asked police to contact her husband regarding an emergency message.

A man at 3:36 p.m. turned himself in at the police station on a Soldotna trooper warrant on an original charge of hit and run.

A woman at 5:30 p.m. reported teenagers got their dune buggy stuck at the bottom of Bunnell Street

April 25

A man at 12:24 a.m. reported juveniles on the roof of the high school. Police responded but could not locate the juveniles.

Police at 11:12 a.m. received a report of a 50-year-old woman found dead in her home on the Bypass.

A man at 5:54 p.m. reported teenagers throwing large rocks up on the roof of the restrooms at Bishop's Beach.

Soldotna troopers at 7:06 p.m. reported a possible intoxicated driver heading southbound on the Sterling Highway in a yellow Corvette with painted red flames on the side.

Soldotna troopers at 7:21 p.m. reported a possible intoxicated driver in a blue Ford pickup driving southbound from Kasilof.

April 26

A Community Mental Health Center worker at 12:20 p.m. made a 911 call asking help in contacting a client.

A woman at 3:40 p.m. reported someone hit a 2002 4-wheel-drive Chevrolet pickup truck in the parking lot of the Grog Shop sometime around 2:30 p.m.

A woman at 6:44 p.m. reported people banging on the door of her Main Street home and arguing over deposit money.

Police at 8:12 p.m. observed expired plates on a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old man on Main Street. Police had warned the driver previously. They cited the driver for minor possessing alcohol and impounded the vehicle.

A caller at 9:51 p.m. reported "excess kids" in a Lake Street parking lot and asked police to drive through the lot.

April 27

Police at 7:56 a.m. warned the driver of a slow-moving 1985 Ford pickup not to delay more than five vehicles behind.

A man at 10:36 a.m. reported he had a dispute with his girlfriend and she tried to kick in the door of his Bay Avenue home.

A woman at 3:39 p.m. asked police to remove a woman sleeping on the floor of the library and who was in and out of the bathroom.

A caller at 3:59 p.m. reported a disoriented patient walked away from long-term care at the hospital and asked for help in locating the missing patient.

An anonymous caller at 9:28 p.m. reported a driver in a white pickup inbound on East End Road who appeared to be intoxicated and had hit three vehicles.

Police at 9:30 p.m. saw a juvenile known to them to not have a license driving on Ben Walters Lane near East End Road. They summonsed the driver for driving without a license and also cited a passenger for allowing an unlicensed driver to drive.

April 28

Police at 2:09 a.m. summonsed a 20-year-old woman walking near Pennock and East End roads for minor consuming alcohol and fleeing an officer.

Police at 3:16 a.m. summonsed a juvenile for minor consuming alcohol and flight to avoid arrest.

A man at 7:36 a.m. reported someone broke into his truck and rolled a 4-wheeler out of the back.

A 911 caller at 3:37 a.m. reported several people on the roof of a Lake Street building.

A man at 1:24 p.m. made a 911 call reporting a 49-year-old man found dead at the Harbor Ridge apartments on Main Street.

A caller at 9:03 p.m. reported a driver in a loud white Camaro racing up Heath Street, west on Pioneer Avenue and around again, making several loops.

April 29

A woman at 1:30 a.m. asked police to check if her daughter and friends were at her vacated Spruce Wood home. She said the daughter had been partying there earlier without permission.

Police at 9:17 a.m. received a report of a VW dune buggy vandalized at Bishop's Beach.

A man at 2:15 p.m. reported a bicycle stolen from the porch of a Svedlund Street home.

A man at 2:20 p.m. reported his girlfriend hit him during an argument. He asked them to remove her.

Police at 7:20 p.m. received a report of a homeless woman "setting up her stuff" at the post office.

A woman at 7:30 p.m. reported a driver barely able to see over the steering wheel of a white Camaro speeding on the Sterling Highway near Baycrest hill.

A caller at 8:15 p.m. reported seeing two vehicles "squirreling" around town, one in a white Camaro and the other in a white Chevrolet Lumina.

Police at 9:13 p.m. received a report of an intoxicated man about 30-years-old with dark hair and a mustache wearing a blue down jacket and Carharrt's and falling into traffic on Main Street.
