The bride is the daughter of Betty McSheehy of Houston and the later Dr. Richard King McSheehy. She has two grown sons, Ryan Malcolm, attending Texas A & M University, and Landon Malcolm, attending Sam Houston State University. McSheehy works as a special education teacher for the Kenai Peninsula School District.

The groom is the son of Hazel and Richard Ingels of Kokomo, Ind. He has two grown sons, Carson Ingels, attending Kettering University, Michigan, and Matthew Ingels, a senior at Homer High School. Ingels has retired from the school district and works as a chemist for Tesoro Alaska.
