Hospice of Homer is now selling tickets for its Spring 2002 raffle. First prize is a $300 shopping certificate at Eagle Food & Drug and two second prizes are $100 certificates. Tickets are $2 each and available at The Art Shop Gallery or the Hospice office on Bartlett Street or at Eagle Saturday, May 27 or May 4. The drawing is 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, at the Art Shop Gallery.

The Homer Police Department urges owners and operators of commercial vehicles to contact Sgt. Lary Kuhns to have their vehicles inspected for the upcoming building season. Call 235-3150.
