A suit to reopen upper Cook Inlet to king salmon fishing this summer has been filed by commercial fishermen together with subsistence users. The suit follows a similar suit by sport fishermen. Both sides are unhappy with the April decision to close the Northern district to commercial setnetters and cancel four scheduled weekends for sports fishing.
