Homer Chamber of Commerce




The chamber is seeking volunteers for the Kachemak Bay Shorebird Festival May 8-11. Call 235-7740.

Homer Clean-Up Day will be from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. May 3.

The chamber will host a Business Breakfast Roundtable from 8-9 a.m. May 13. Participants get two minutes to discuss their businesses and hand out literature. Free for chamber members, $7 for nonmembers. Call 235-7740.

There will be a chamber luncheon at noon May 13 at the Best Western Bidarka Inn. Representatives of the NANA Development Corporation will discuss NANA and the Northwest Borough's history and limited regional economic opportunities, the relationship with Teck Cominco and Red Dog Mine and proposed clean water anti-mining initiatives. Lunch is $12 for chamber members and $14 for nonmembers.

There will be a chamber luncheon at noon May 20 at the Best Western Bidarka Inn with guest Art Hackney of Alaskans for Clean Water. Lunch is $12 for chamber members and $14 for nonmembers.
