A man at 2:07 p.m. reported a boy walked away from the middle school without permission and could not be found. The boy returned at 2:22 p.m.

A woman at 3:02 p.m. reported someone tried to sell her drugs.

A man at 4:14 p.m. reported two men walking on thin ice on Beluga Lake.

A woman at 5:50 p.m. reported boots stolen from her Mattox Street porch.

April 21

A mental health worker at 10:46 a.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a woman.

A man at 4 p.m. reported receiving bad checks at a Sterling Highway business.

A woman at 11:56 p.m. reported excessive noise at a Main Street apartment. After two warnings, police arrested a 51-year-old man for disorderly conduct.

April 22

A caller at 7:47 a.m. reported an expected death at home of an 88-year-old woman.

A caller at 7:59 p.m. reported an old dog lying in the middle of Pioneer Avenue. Animal Control took the dog to the shelter.

April 23

Police at 12:30 a.m. received a 911 call of a fight at a West Pioneer Avenue home. Police responded and found the combatants had separated. Police got a second call of a man climbing up the side of a building and trying to enter a balcony door.

Police at 7:50 a.m. issued a summons to a 28-year-old man for operating without liability insurance.

A woman at 9:10 a.m. made a 911 call of a man hanging around a neighbor's Hohe Street home and cars. The resident later called to report tires slashed.

A man at 11:01 a.m. reported a car vandalized on Fairview Avenue.

A man at 11:54 a.m. reported a disturbance at a Pioneer Avenue restaurant. Police responded and determined it was a disagreement between the owner and an employee.

Police at 12:37 p.m. arrested a 39-year-old man for driving while license suspended.

A man at 4:50 p.m. reported two large motorhomes parked lengthwise in front of his Homer Spit business.

A caller at 7:34 p.m. reported possible prostitution at a Main Street home.

A man at 7:42 p.m. reported his wife is drunk and on probation and has their children in an unsafe situation. The man said the Office of Children's Services had been notified.

April 25

Police at 3:22 a.m. located a vandalized car on April Place.

A caller at 8:32 a.m. reported someone spray painted a Greatland Way business the night before.

A caller at 9:35 a.m. reported someone spray painted a Pioneer Avenue business the night before.

Police at 7:07 p.m. received a 911 call with an open line. A woman said an unknown man ran away from her Noview Avenue home but that she was OK.

Police at 7:30 p.m. took a 60-year-old man into protective custody.

Police at 10:02 p.m. issued a summons to a 41-year-old man for sixth-degree drug misconduct.

April 26

Police at 3:13 a.m. saw two suspects flee on foot after leaving a motorcycle in the ditch off the Sterling Highway.

A caller at 7:29 a.m. reported an expected death of a 77-year-old woman.

A woman at 6 p.m. reported possible drug dealing at Karen Hornaday Park.

April 27

A man at 1 a.m. reported two men prowling around his Alder Lane home. Police responded and found two drunk men trying to find their way home.
