June 12, 1941- March 26, 2011

Kay Gray died March 26, 2011, in the company of family at long term care unit of South Peninsula Hospital in Homer.

All are invited to a celebration of Kay's life at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Church. A potluck reception will follow.

Kay was born and raised in Indiana. She lived for more than 25 years in Florida before settling in Homer, where she spent her last 10 years. She was a gifted seamstress and dressmaker. She loved arts and crafts, especially beading and jewelry making. She was a music lover and loved to travel, but most of all loved her family.

Kay is survived by five children, Marga Brewer, David Gray and Parr Gray, all of Florida, and Barr Gray and Earla Gray of Homer; 10 grandchildren, Jodi Brewer of Tenessee; Mindy Brewer, Bowen Brewer and Zane Gray, all of Florida; Christi Sprouse, Sarah Pedrick, Savanah Gray-Nester, Melissa Buster, Ryan Buster and Mickey Buster, all of Homer; and seven great grandchildren.
