April 18

A caller at 12:13 p.m. reported a man at Bishop's Beach removing driftwood from the storm berm. Police warned the man that taking driftwood from storm berms violated city ordinances. The man also was told his car was in a prohibited area.

A caller at 1 p.m. reported a fence was being removed from property in the Ocean Drive area that was being foreclosed on.

A man at 2:45 p.m. reported identity theft on an Internet account set up on his name in Phoenix. Police advised the man to contact Phoenix police.

An employee at a Greatland Street store at 3:52 p.m. reported a shoplifter in custody. Police issued a summons to a 20-year-old man and gave him a trespass notice not to enter the store for a year.

A caller at 6:26 p.m. reported a man camping on private property off the Airport Beach Access Road.

April 19

A woman at 10 a.m. reported identity theft.

A caller at 11:55 a.m. reported a person trespassing in a car in the Kachemak Drive area.

An out-of-state caller at 7:47 p.m. asked police to check on a possibly suicidal man in the Homer area. Police checked on the man and found he was OK.

A man at 9:19 p.m. reported another man following, harassing and threatening him on the Spit. The caller threatened to stab the other man. Police responded.

Several callers at 11:17 p.m. and 12:27 a.m. reported alarms at an Ocean Drive business. Police checked on the building and found it secure.

April 20

Police at 4:41 a.m. found a Ford car with an open door and a wallet in the car at a Spit parking lot. Police found the registered owner and returned the wallet. Nothing was reported missing.

A harbor officer at 5 a.m. found a Kia car with an open door on Freight Dock Road. Police closed the door.

A harbor officer at 5:16 a.m. reported a Chevrolet car had been broken into on Freight Dock Road.

A man at 11:40 a.m. made a 911 call of a person driving a van recklessly who ran him off the road near Mile 3 Kachemak Drive. The man said he followed the van to a business on Kachemak Drive.

A caller at 11:34 a.m. reported three dogs at a Main Street address that appeared emaciated and not cared for.

A caller at 3:14 p.m. reported a place in the Felix Circle and Katie Jean Circle area that he alleged ran a dog day care with dogs barking during the day.

Police at 4:30 p.m. stopped a 23-year-old woman driving on the Sterling Highway and issued her a summons for not having motor vehicle insurance.

Police at 4:55 p.m. arrested a 47-year-old man for driving while license suspended.

A person at 6:36 p.m. made a "report every dangerous driver immediately" complaint of a person driving on the Sterling Highway. Police stopped the driver and arrested a 51-year-old man for driving under the influence.

April 21

A woman at 11:46 a.m. reported her ex-husband stalked her and asked for assistance. Police advised the woman to get a restraining order.

A woman at 3:58 p.m. reported someone called her on her cell phone and insisted she had fraudulent charges on her credit card.

A woman at 4:45 p.m. reported her granddaughter had run away from home.

A man at 5:30 p.m. reported a dog chases him and his unsecured dog when he is biking on Kachemak Drive.

A caller at 10:10 p.m. reported a man lost a tan tool tote somewhere between Kasilof and Homer.

April 22

A caller at 3:13 a.m. reported three boys acting suspiciously near an East End Road church. Police responded but could not locate the suspects.
