Troopers at 9:10 a.m. went to Mile 119 Sterling Highway near Clam Gulch for a motor vehicle accident. They allege that a 22-year-old Clam Gulch man stopped in the northbound lane to make a turn when a 22-year-old Homer Man also driving north struck the other vehicle. Both drivers and the Homer man's passenger wore seatbelts and were not injured, but the collision totaled both vehicles. Troopers cited the Homer man for failure to show due care to avoid an accident.
