Pop Warner Football signups are May 5 and 19 at Eagle Quality Center from noon to 4 p.m. The league is open to players ages 7 to 15. The league also needs volunteer referees, coaches and parents to support the program.

Peters signs up for Idaho

Homer High School running standout Andrew Peters has signed a letter of intent to enroll at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho. He will join other distance runners on the school's cross-country and track teams next fall.
