Classes
Parent to Parent, a class designed to help families raise their children to be happy, healthy and safe, will be offered from 5:30-8 p.m. April 28 and May 5 and 12 at McNeil Canyon School.

The Alaska Marine Safety Education Association will offer a U.S. Coast Guard approved fishing vessel safety and drill conductor course May 12-13 at the Best Western Bidarka Inn. The American Red Cross of Alaska will hold the following Disaster Response Training classes to teach community volunteers the necessary knowledge and skills to provide emergency relief at the scene of a disaster:
Fulfilling Our Mission: Translating Your Compassion into Community Action will be from 6-9 p.m. May 16; Client Casework: Providing Emergency Assistance will be from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. May 17; and Shelter Operations and Shelter Simulation will be from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. May 18.
