The Alaska Department of Fish and Game will offer a black bear baiting clinic from 6-9 p.m. April 25 at the Kenai Peninsula Sport, Rec and Trade Show at the Central Peninsula Sport Center in Soldotna.

The Kenai Peninsula United Way is accepting applications for new member agencies. To qualify for admission an agency must have a 501(c)(3) tax exempt status, have been in operation on the peninsula for at least two years, have an elected board of directors and provide a health and human service not offered by another local member agency. The Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward will hold a 10th anniversary community party May 3. Alaska residents with identification will be admitted free all day and on the 10th day of every month through 2008.
