Cowboy Cabaret helps horse park

The board of directors of the Kachemak Bay Equestrian Association would like to thank all the businesses and community members for their generous donations to the Cowboy Cabaret auctions. This entertaining event brings together cowboys and cowgirls from all walks of life and multiple generations to share music, poetry, food and dessert.

Special thanks to cowboy extraordinaire Mark Marette for once again doing a wonderful job as emcee. Tim Quinn was our top wrangler as the organizer of the event and Janet Fink lassoed the silent auction into line. Alice's Champagne Palace was the perfect venue and created a fantastic chuck wagon dinner. Heather and Knute Tonga rounded it off with their great western music with sound provided by Mike Neese.

The funds raised go towards the purchase of Cottonwood Horse Park located 1.5 miles East End Road. Please join us this summer for activities at the park.
