April 6

Troopers at 6:28 p.m. stopped a 56-year-old Ninilchik man driving near Mile 136 Sterling Highway in Ninilchik and arrested him for driving while license revoked and driving under the influence.

Troopers at 8:30 p.m. went to a disturbance on Milo Fritz Road in Anchor Point. Troopers contacted a 46-year-old Anchor Point woman and arrested her for violating conditions of release for allegedly drinking alcohol.

April 8

Troopers at noon contacted a 56-year-old Ninilchik man driving in Homer and arrested him for DUI, driving while license suspended and driving in violation of limitations on license.

April 9

Alaska Bureau of Highway Patrol troopers at 7:26 p.m. stopped a 38-year-old Anchor Point man driving near Mile 154 Sterling Highway and arrested him for DUI and DWLR.

April 10

Troopers at 1 p.m. stopped a 49-year-old Anchor Point man driving in Anchor Point and issued him a summons for DWLR and driving without an ignition interlock device.

Troopers at 1:45 p.m. contacted a 39-year-old Anchor Point woman in Anchor Point and arrested her on a $1,000 warrant for violating conditions of release.

Troopers at 2:15 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 47-year-old Snowflake, Ariz., man. Following an investigation, troopers arrested the man on an extraditable arrest warrant from Arizona and charged him with fugitive from justice.

April 11

Troopers at 8:20 a.m. went to a single-car crash near Mile 164 Sterling Highway. They allege a 57-year-old Homer man lost control on icy roads, went into the ditch and rolled his car. The man wore his seat belt and avoided serious injury. Troopers cited him for driving too fast for conditions.

A person watching a house near McNeil Canyon at 8:14 a.m. reported somebody walked in to snowed-in property, damaged a door and tried to get into the house. Troopers said they believe a person was trying to squat in the house and have identified a suspect.

April 13

Troopers at 3:37 p.m. contacted a 36-year-old Ninilchik man near Mile 152 Sterling Highway for a traffic infraction. Troopers allege the man had an outstanding warrant to serve jail time for DUI and other offenses. They arrested the man.

April 14

Troopers early in the morning received a report of a disturbance in Nanwalek. They allege a 27-year-old Nanwalek woman entered the home of another person without consent and assaulted a woman there. Troopers arrested the suspect and took her to the Homer Jail.

Troopers at 7:40 p.m. stopped a 21-year-old Anchor Point man driving in Anchor Point. They cited him for driving without liability insurance.

April 15

Troopers at 9:44 p.m. made a traffic stop in Homer on a 26-year-old Voznesenka man. They arrested him for DWLR.

Troopers at 7:15 p.m. cited a 48-year-old Anchor Point man for driving without liability insurance.

April 16

Troopers at 3:06 p.m. went to a single-car crash with injuries near Mile 6 East End Road. EMTs took a 56-year-old Homer woman to the hospital with injuries. The woman wore her seat belt. Troopers cited her for speeding.

April 17

Troopers at 4:05 p.m. made a traffic stop in Homer on a 23-year-old Homer man. They arrested the man on an outstanding warrant.

Troopers at 8:50 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 50-year-old Anchor Point man in Anchor Point and arrested the man for DUI.
