April 9

A man at 5:37 p.m. reported he lost his iPad in the Fairview Avenue area. On April 11 he reported he had located his iPad, but that an unknown person has it and will not return it.

A caller at 6:32 p.m. reported children left at a Pioneer Avenue business after hours. Police responded and referred the matter to the Office of Childrens Services.

Police at 9:22 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 19-year-old man driving on Pioneer Avenue. They cited him for driving while license suspended.

A woman at 9:14 p.m. reported juveniles she suspected smoked marijuana in a car on Dehel Street. Police released the juveniles to their parents.

April 10

Police at 4:06 a.m. contacted a 20-year-old man driving on Ben Walters Lane and arrested him for driving under the influence, minor consuming alcohol and minor operating a vehicle after consuming alcohol.

A man at 1:37 p.m. made a 911 call that a driver in a silver pickup truck crossed into his lane on East End Road and almost hit him. Police could not locate the suspect.

A caller at 3:44 p.m. reported a woman is being harassed by her ex-boyfriend.

A caller at 4:15 p.m. reported an older, gray haired woman crossed Lake Street and was just standing on the corner.

A caller at 5:46 p.m. reported finding a hypodermic needle lying in the road on Ben Walters Lane. Police retrieved and disposed of the needle.

A social worker at 5:15 p.m. came with a woman to the police station to get an emergency protective order.

A hospital worker a 8:43 p.m. reported a man transported to the hospital earlier was now being disruptive and threatening suicide. Police took the man into protective custody.

April 11

A man at 12:12 p.m. reported he loaned his car to a friend who then gave it to someone else. The man wanted to report the car stolen.

A person at 2:16 p.m. made a 911 call of shots fired from the Kachemak Drive area while the caller walked on the Spit Trail. The caller said ducks flew overhead and thought someone might have been shooting at ducks.

A woman at 3:23 p.m. reported her ex-boyfriend was trying to pick up their child from daycare without her permission.

A caller at 5:37 p.m. reported an elderly man walked away from an assisted living home and cant be located. The caller later said the man was found.

A woman at 6:27 p.m. made a 911 call that a woman is locked in a room and refused to give the caller her belongings. Police responded.

April 12

A person at 11 a.m. turned in a wallet found at a Pioneer Avenue address.

A person at 4:39 p.m. made a 911 call of a red SUV being driven at 70 to 75 mph in a residential area on East Hill Road.

Police at 9:19 p.m. found a dead eagle in the road on Kachemak Drive. Police contacted the Alaska Islands and Ocean Visitor Center.

A caller at 9:46 p.m. reported a person at a Sterling Highway business whose breath smelled of alcohol. Police found the person driving and arrested a 41-year-old man for driving under the influence.

A man at 11:18 p.m. reported computer fraud.
