Troopers

March 28

Alaska State Troopers at 3:10 p.m. went to a rollover crash on East End Road. Troopers allege a 29-year-old Homer man drove too fast for conditions, failed to make a downhill left turn and rolled several times when he went into the ditch. The man wore a seatbelt and escaped serious injury. On April 7, after completing an investigation, troopers arrested the man for driving under the influence, alleging he had been impaired by prescription narcotics.

April 1

Bureau of Highway Patrol troopers at 9:56 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 43-year-old Anchor Point man near Mile 1.5 North Fork Road. Troopers arrested the man for DUI.
