A woman at 3:28 a.m. reported someone was on her porch at her East End Road home and trying to get in. Police went to the area but could not locate a suspect.
A man at 6 p.m. reported about six kids with a potato launcher were shooting potatoes at the skateboard park.
Police at 7:26 p.m. issued a summons to a 22-year-old man for possession of marijuana.
A man at 7:55 p.m. reported older boys were running children away from the skateboard park and taunting passers-by. Police talked to the suspects and told them they would be removed if complaints continued.
April 7
Police at 12:31 a.m. arrested a 20-year-old man for failure to appear in court and for driving while license suspended.
A man at 7:56 a.m. reported the day before someone stole a tool box and tool bag from the deck of his Kachemak Drive home.
Soldotna troopers at 3:53 p.m. made “report every drunk driver immediately” complaint of a green Ford pickup heading toward Homer. Police located the suspect and arrested a 26-year-old woman on two outstanding warrants, giving false information and two counts of reckless endangerment.
A gas station employee at 6:15 p.m. reported a customer drove off with the pump handle still hooked inside her gas tank.
April 8
A man at 7:15 a.m. made a 911 call reporting someone broke into his Crittenden Street home and stole medications.
A caller at 7:47 p.m. reported two men walked down Pioneer Avenue and kicked over construction signs. Police contacted the suspects and issued summons to two 23-year-old men for criminal mischief. One man was arrested for resisting arrest.
April 9
Police at 3:30 a.m. issued a summons to a 17-year-old boy for minor consuming alcohol.
A woman at 3:09 p.m. reported five juveniles took the weather vane off the gazebo at WKLF Park.
Two women at 5:20 p.m. and 5:23 p.m. reported an aggressive moose chased children in the Sabrina Road and Tamara Street area. Police advised the first caller to get the children inside.
A woman at 6:29 p.m. reported someone put a hammer through the windshield of her car parked on Ben Walters Lane.
A man at 8:49 p.m. reported a horse at large on Ocean Drive Loop. Police contacted the horse’s owner.
April 10
A man at 1:05 p.m. came to the Homer Police station and asked to be arrested for driving while license revoked. Police advised the man of his options.
A woman at 4:49 p.m. reported a counterfeit $100 bill found at a Pioneer Avenue business.
A caller at 5:34 p.m. reported a resident at a long-term care facility died.
April 11
A harbor officer at 1:30 a.m. reported a woman camping in the public restroom near the harbor office.
