Forestry officials are still investigating the cause of the blaze at Chip Cove, off Olga Bay.
When Matt James and Terry Anderson arrived at the site Sunday morning along with Division of Forestry fire-prevention warden Sharon Roesch, the fire was burning at an elevation of 1,200 feet, James said.
The crew used the snowline at the 1,500-foot mark on the north-facing slopes as a firebreak and the fire was out by Tuesday morning.
Several setnet skiffs stored in the area burned in the fire, James said.
