We would like to thank the Homer Council on the Arts and juJuba, Homer's outstanding marimba musicians, for their wonderful performance at Alice's Saturday, March 30. Their contribution of free tickets for the residents of the Friendship Terrace Assisted Living made it possible for us to experience this fine talent. Though you didn't see us dancing to the incredible rhythms, and we left before the end, we had a very enjoyable time and we were also dancing in our "mind's eye." Watching all the children react to the sounds added to our experience. We appreciated the patience of the other patrons as a sea of humanity opened to allow us to take our early departure. Lastly, we would like to thank volunteers Cris Rideout, Jodi Miller and Judith Hughes for your gentle and competent assistance.
