Summer programs, science fair combine for one event

Staff report

Two separate events — the Summer Programs Fair and the Math and Science Night — sponsored by Paul Banks Elementary School are being combined into one big event this year. It will be held in the school's gym and hallway from 5:30-7:30 p.m. April 20.

The math and science portion of the evening includes fun family activities: oobleck, marshmallow structures, marble mazes, amazing egg drop, exploding volcanoes, birds, vortexes and more.

The summer activities fair offers opportunities to sign up for the many programs, sports, classes, camps and other activities for kids being offered in the area this summer.

To reserve a full or half table for the summer programs fair or to run a math or science activity, contact Shannon McBride-Morin at 399-2006. On the day of set-up, contact Jen Vendendall at 226-3027 or Aimee Sulczynski at 299-2464.

The event is sponsored by the Paul Banks PTA.
