Pier One Theatre is delighted to be the recipient of a Rasmuson Foundation grant to make permanent roof repairs to our theater halfway out the Homer Spit. The new metal roof will insure that the damage caused by last Novembers wind storm cannot happen again. Because that windstorm was declared a federal disaster, FEMA provided funding for emergency roof repairs to make the building watertight. Thanks to the Rasmusons generous support, not only will the city-owned building be watertight, but storm-proof as well. Lance Petersen
