Cortnie Campbell and Travis Doan

Cortnie is a 2002 graduate of Lathrop High School. She is a fulltime student at UAF and will graduate in the fall of 2009 with an accounting and marketing degree. Cortnie works full time for Lear Siegler Services.

Travis is a 1998 graduate of West Valley High School. After graduating, he played hockey for the Des Moines Buccaneers , the Fairbanks Ice Dogs and in New York while attending college full time. Travis is currently an Operator in Local 302.

Travis and Cortnie met at The Fudge Pot which is owned by Travis' family. The couple was introduced by Travis' stepfather, the late Harold Skelton. Harold always said "there were sparks flying from the beginning." Travis and Cortnie will marry on their fifth year anniversary, Aug. 22, 2009.

After their honeymoon in the Caribbean they will reside in Fairbanks.
