Emergency siren tests: Kenai Peninsula Borough emergency siren tests are at noon the first Thursday of each month except holidays. The test consists of attack and alert tones.

Attack warning signal: wavering tone for three minutes, sounded in case of evacuation for tsunami, enemy attack or diaster requiring evacuation.

Alert warning signal: continuous tone for three minutes, to alert populous of impending danger. Turn on radio, TV or marine band radio and listen for information.
