Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, visits Homer next Wednesday for a brief appearance. Alaska's senior senator presents a congressional update from noon to 1 p.m. April 4 at the Best Western Bidarka Inn for a luncheon sponsored by the Homer Chamber of Commerce. Murkowski starts her day with an appearance from 9 to 10 a.m. on KBBI AM 890's Coffee Table program, moderated by KBBI news director Aaron Selbig. She also will tour the new Seldovia Village Tribe's Wellness Center and visit Homer High School.
