A woman at 3:52 p.m. reported telephone fraud. A woman at 4:34 p.m. reported finding a dead dog at Bishops Beach. Police notified the animal control officer. A woman at 6:11 p.m. reported telephone fraud. A person at 8:02 p.m. made a report every dangerous driver immediately complaint of a driver on Ocean Drive. Police couldnt find the driver, but later at 9:28 p.m. received a report of the suspect parked in front of a Sterling Highway liquor store. Police arrested a 38-year-old man for driving under the influence. March 20 A caller at 11:12 a.m. reported a woman cut her wrist. The woman was taken to South Peninsula Hospital. A woman at 11:36 a.m. reported her daughter left school and has run away from home. A caller at 12:10 p.m. reported methamphetamine use with a child present at a Ben Walters Lane home. A man at 6 p.m. asked police for information regarding the serial number on a gun. March 21 A man at 11:05 a.m. reported a moose trapped in a fenced area on Kachemak Drive. A man and woman at 3:17 p.m. went to the police station and reported receiving threats. A man at 3:56 p.m. went to the police station with a court order requesting documents. Police at 6:13 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 37-year-old man driving on East End Road. They arrested him for driving while license revoked. Police at 6:35 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 26-year-old man driving on the Sterling Highway. They issued him a summons for sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, marijuana. March 22 Police at 8:35 a.m. warned a driver for speeding in a school zone on the Sterling Highway. A man at 10:45 a.m. reported his car was stolen and then discovered his car had been towed by his landlord. March 23 A woman at 2:11 p.m. asked police to arrest another woman for being around her kids. A man at 4:28 p.m. reported an unauthorized charge on his bank account. A caller at 5 p.m. reported an Ocean Drive Loop neighbor slamming doors on her apartment for an hour. Police responded and asked the woman to keep the noise down. Police at 5:23 p.m. contacted individuals at Karen Hornaday Park and found a small amount of marijuana in their car. A man at 7:27 p.m. reported a moose was shot in the Ternview Place area after being attacked by three dogs. Police responded. A charity salvaged the moose meat. A caller at 8:31 p.m. reported moose eating the bark off trees. A caller at 9:23 p.m. reported suspicious activity at South Peninsula Hospital. March 24 Police at 1:39 a.m. contacted a person on the Spit who was found to be in violation of conditions of probation. Police arrested the person. A caller at 1:11 p.m. reported being concerned about a woman riding her bicycle at night. A woman at 4:49 p.m. made a 911 call of an injured juvenile eagle on the beach near Ocean Drive Loop. The woman said the eagle wasnt flying. Police notified a bird rescue group. A man at 6:47 p.m. reported he suspected people entered his Latham Lane home while he was away. A woman at 9:10 p.m. reported damage to the door of her Danview Avenue home. March 25 A man at 1:36 a.m. made a 911 call of a drunk pedestrian walking on Pioneer Avenue. A woman at 10:37 a.m. reported losing a diamond tennis bracelet somewhere in Homer. Alaska State Troopers at 11:38 a.m. reported a moose had been shot in the Highland Drive area. A charity salvaged the moose. A man at 2:26 p.m. asked for information on turning himself in. A hospital employee at 7:13 p.m. reported a patient attempted to leave the hospital against medical advice. Police advised the patient of options.
