What has happened to the word "fairness"? Have people forgotten the meaning of this word? Have they forgotten how to spell the word or have they just eliminated the word from their vocabulary? This is what I think the senior center board of directors has done.

Gay Pendleton gave 18 years to the center, coming up through the ranks to become manager of the day care center, where she was loved by the people who came each day for good and loving care, for fun, games, music. After all these years, all of a sudden, in the past few months, she was bombarded with complaints. Why did this happen and force Gay to resign a job she loved?

I have been a volunteer at the center for 2 1/2 years and I saw how much she did for the center.

I suggest that the board of directors take a long, hard look at this situation because you have lost a very loyal and dedicated employee. It takes many to make a decision, not just a few.
