Be part of Junior Olympic adventure

The Homer High School Ski Team is putting on a raffle to help with Cassidy Soistman's expenses to participate in the Junior Olympics in Utah earlier this month.

"This honor comes with a pretty big price tag that she has to pay out of her own pocket," say organizers of the raffle.

The team, in conjunction with the school's "Big Booster" club is creating the raffle. The grand prize is a pair of Atomic World Cup H T skis.

Raffle tickets will be $10 each or three for $25. Tickets will be sold at the 100K race and the Sea-to-Ski race. The drawing of the winner will be after the Sea-to-Ski race on April 1.

"If you are not a skier and would like to help our great skier, we will accept donations," say organizers.

To purchase tickets or for more information, call Catrin at 299-3424.
