Hahn elected SPH chief of staff





 

Hahn

Dr. Kenneth Hahn was recently elected South Peninsula Hospital's chief of staff by the hospital's medical staff. His term is for one year. He replaces Dr. Guilia Tortora.

Hahn was born in Barrow and raised in Nome. He attended the University of Alaska, graduated from Brown University in 1980 and completed medical school at the University of Washington in 1984. His residency in family practice was completed at Eastern Maine Medical Center from 1984-1987. He had a solo medical practice in Carnation, Wash., from 1987-1996, and a hospital practice at the Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Wash., and Snoqualmie Valley Hospital, Snoqualmie, Wash., where he served as chief of staff and as a hospital board member.

From 1996 to present, he has practiced at Redoubt Medical Clinic in Kenai, with his primary practice at Kachemak Bay Medical Clinic in Homer. Hahn has three children. His hobbies are hiking, fishing, gardening and rafting.
