Court records show the following actions taken in Homer District Court through March 2:

Judgments

Rocky C. Adkins, 50, pleaded guilty to second-degree hindering prosecution. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 80 days suspended and ordered to perform 80 hours of community work service; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; and was placed on probation for two years. He also pleaded guilty to driving while license revoked. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 20 days suspended and ordered to perform 80 hours of community work service and had his drivers license revoked for 90 days. He also pleaded guilty to violating conditions of release and was fined $500 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 60 days in jail with 60 days suspended.

Jeffery E. Grant, 45, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was fined $2,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 45 days in jail with 42 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $330 cost of imprisonment; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had his drivers license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for one year.

Robert L. Clute, 28, pleaded guilty to not having a valid operators license. He was fined $500 with $250 suspended and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 80 days suspended and ordered to perform 80 hours of community work service; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; and was placed on probation for two years.

James M. Painter, 35, pleaded guilty to violating a protective order. Imposition of sentence was suspended subject to the condition that he perform 40 hours of community work service, get a mental health evaluation and not have contact with his victim. He was placed on probation for one year.

Trevor K. Latimer, 44, pleaded guilty to second-degree harassment. He was sentenced to 43 days in jail and ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $50 jail surcharge.

Mary J. Kitchens, 61, Ninilchik, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. She was fined $2,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 45 days in jail with 42 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $330 cost of imprisonment; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had her drivers license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for one year.

Joshua P. Johnston, 22, pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal trespass. He was fined $500 and sentenced to 20 days in jail with 15 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and not return to Youngs Restaurant and Inn; and was placed on probation for one year.

Criminal Court

Kenton L. Smith, 52, third-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, methamphetamines; fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, oxycodone; second-degree misconduct involving weapons, felony indictment.

Danielle L. Bauman, 34, third-degree criminal mischief, a felony; fourth-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief, all domestic violence related; violating conditions of release, two counts.

Daniel M. Bryant, 61, driving under the influence.

Benjamin A. Haunschild, 19, no motor vehicle insurance.

Douglas K. OBrien, 58, Anchor Point, overtaking and passing a school bus.

Onicefor Basargin, 26, failure to appear in court.

Douglas J. Lukins, 32, failure to appear in court.

Mathew P. Roderick, 36, Anchor Point, trapping without a license, taking or trapping a lynx during closed season, unlawful possession or transportation of game; failure to seal a lynx within 30 days.

Leslie F. Moffard, 59, unlawful possession of game, unsworn falsification, possession of an unsealed black bear hide.

Michael R. Pulsifer, 44, driving while license revoked.

John M.V. Puha, 31, Anchorage, driving without a valid operators license.

Chelsea K. Anderson, 17, DUI, minor operating a vehicle after consuming alcohol, minor consuming alcohol.

Johnathan Wilkinson, 23, failure to appear in court.

Civil Court

In the matter of Dennis Joseph Clayton, change of name to Dennis Joseph Kendrick.

In the matter of Mark Stout and Patricia Moreth, dissolution of marriage.

Walter Suomela v. Tom Elliott, personal injury and property damage.

Martin M. Gonzales v. Linda Gonzales, domestic violence protective order granted; petition to dissolve protection order granted; protective order canceled.

Catherine H. Knott v. Timothy W. Grant, domestic violence protective order granted.

Mahan Woods v. Joseph F. Vergnetti, short-term protective order granted Feb. 27, 2012; motion to dissolve the order was granted on March 6, 2012. A petition for a long-term protection order was withdrawn.
