Homer Alaska - Letters

I am writing to the Homer News as part of our Love of Reading Challenge. At my school, McNeil Canyon, we have had a reading challenge the last two weeks. We were challenged to read every day and there were bonus activities, too. Writing to the editor was one of those extra points.

I love to read every day. My favorite book right now is "The Talking Parcel." My teacher read it to my class. I read 28 hours and 20 minutes during the last two weeks. I think everyone should learn to read and enjoy books. They are great. Our final celebration is on Dr. Seuss' birthday.
