Homer Alaska - Letters

The Homer Youth String Orchestra Club (HYSOC) is proud to acknowledge Joy Steward and the Homer Foundation for "orchestrating" the generous grant received from the Sulzberger Foundation for the purchase of music and music binders for all of its members for the 2010-2011 season.

HYSOC is a nonprofit organization under the umbrella of the Kenai Peninsula Orchestra for students ages 4 through high school. They meet for weekly rehearsals and prepare holiday and spring concerts for the public, free of charge.

The Sulzberger Foundation, a charitable organization based in New York City, has generously granted funding to the Homer Youth String Orchestra Club for orchestra music purchases. The Homer community can look forward to a spring concert performance given by the youth orchestra in early May.
