Feb. 16

A woman at 2:07 p.m. reported people might be stealing gas from cars at a Danview Avenue apartment complex parking lot.

A man at 4:35 p.m. reported a person bicycling on Ocean Drive near Douglas Street with no reflective gear. Police could not find the bicyclist.

A woman at 8:09 p.m. reported two people struggling with another person on Lake Street. Police could not find the people.

A woman at 11:11 p.m. reported hitting a moose near Mile 2 East End Road. Her car was not damaged and police could not find the moose.

Feb. 17

A man at 7:50 a.m. reported someone broke out the front window of his Bunnell Avenue business.

A man at 12:15 p.m. reported a person passed a school bus with flashing red lights on East End Road near Pennock Street.

Feb. 18

A hospital employee at 3:01 a.m. asked police to take into protective custody a man leaving the hospital. Police responded but could not find the man.

Police at 2 p.m. asked the Kenai Police Department with an interview.

A man at 7:37 p.m. reported a suspicious vehicle parked in a car wash stall on Ocean Drive. The vehicle's owner called back and said everything was OK.

Feb. 19

A man at 11:46 a.m. reported his 2003 Chevrolet was stolen. The car was later recovered.

A woman at 12:46 p.m. reported her adult daughter was missing from their home.

A woman at 1:58 p.m. reported someone entered an outbuilding on her Jennifer Place property. Nothing was damaged or stolen.

A man at 4:26 p.m. reported a possible probation violation.

Feb. 20

A woman at 12:02 a.m. reported loud music and a disturbance coming from Mariner Park. Police responded and told partiers to keep the noise down.

A man at 12:31 a.m. reported loud music coming from a Pioneer Avenue bar. Police responded and arrested a 30-year-old man for trespassing and possession of marijuana.

Police at 10:47 p.m. issued a summons to a 21-year-old man for not having liability insurance.

Feb. 21

A man at 1:03 a.m. made a 911 call reporting a stolen car in the Rochelle Road area. Police responded and determined the issue was a civil matter.

Police at 1:54 a.m. stopped a 37-year-old man driving on Ben Walters Lane and arrested him for driving under the influence.

A man at 11:50 a.m. reported his bicycle was stolen. Police located the bicycle and returned it to the owner.

Police at 6 p.m. found an unattended backpack in the police station lobby.
