Feb. 11

Troopers at 11:50 p.m. went to a report of an assault at a Ninilchik home. Troopers arrested a 36-year-old Ninilchik man for fourth-degree assault.

Feb. 13

Troopers at 7:48 p.m. went to a single-vehicle rollover near Mile .25 Old Sterling Highway. Troopers found extensive damage to the driver's side of the truck but did not find the driver. Troopers identified a 36-year-old Ninilchik man as the suspected driver. While investigating at the scene, a 50-year-old Anchor Point woman drove up with the 36-year-old man riding in her car. Troopers allege both the man and woman were drunk and arrested them for driving under the influence. Troopers also charged the man with driving with a revoked license and without an ignition interlock device.

Feb. 16

Troopers at noon went to Nanwalek for a report of an assault. Troopers responded, and following an investigation charged a 51-year-old man with an assault on an adult family member. A warrant was requested, but the man had not been located. Troopers said anyone offering assistance or refuge to the man could face criminal charges.
