Feb. 15

A woman at 12:33 p.m. reported her purse was stolen from her car parked on Fairview Avenue.

Alaska Pretrial Service at 12:28 p.m. reported a subject in possession of marijuana in violation of conditions of release. Police arrested a 57-year-old man for sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.

Police at 7:48 p.m. impounded a Toyota Camry for a drug investigation and later served a warrant and searched it.

Feb. 16

A person at 1:51 a.m. made a 911 call of suspicious activity at a Pioneer Avenue bar parking lot.

A bank official at noon reported a counterfeit check.

Police at 11:12 p.m. warned a person not to drive on the sidewalk on East End Road.

Feb. 17

A man at 12:27 p.m. reported an expected death of an 88-year-old man at a Paradise Place home.

A woman at 3:58 p.m. reported being assaulted by a family member.

A person at 10:30 p.m. reported a man and woman fighting at a Fairview Avenue address. Police responded and arrested a 45-year-old woman for assault.

Feb. 18

A person at 5:54 a.m. reported a cow moose and calf near the front doors of the high school. Police responded but couldn't find the moose.

A man at 12:20 p.m. reported unusual circumstances at his Mountainview Avenue home.

A person at 5:05 p.m. reported another person wasn't complying with conditions of release. Police arrested a 57-year-old man.

Feb. 19

A man at 10:53 a.m. reported excessive smoking of marijuana at an E Street home.

A woman at 11:37 a.m. asked to talk to an officer about receiving harassing phone calls. An officer talked with her.

A caller reported an unusual amount of traffic in the Tulin Terrace area.

Feb. 20

A person at 3:21 p.m. made a 911 call of a two-car crash on Bartlett Street and Fairview Avenue with injuries.

A man at 8:45 p.m. asked police to do a welfare check on a woman staying at a motel. Police checked and arrested a 55-year-old man on an outstanding warrant.

A woman at 8:43 a.m. reported a theft from her room.

Feb. 21

A caller at 7:31 a.m. reported a moose near the front doors of the high school. Police scared the moose away.

A man at 9:11 a.m. reported a suspect drunk driver after seeing a man in a truck almost run a red light and driving erratically. Police found the truck but not the driver.
