Feb. 13

Alaska State Troopers at 7 a.m. did a welfare check on a 46-year-old Homer man. Troopers allege the man drank alcohol in violation of the conditions of his release. Troopers arrested the man and took him to the Homer Jail.

Troopers at 2:47 p.m. went to a two-car crash at the intersection of Alyeska Highway and Alyeska View in Girdwood. Troopers allege a 17-year-old Girdwood man driving a pickup truck failed to stop at a stop sign and was hit by a 52-year-old Homer woman driving a station wagon. The station wagon clipped the back of the truck. Both drivers wore seat belts and werent injured.

Troopers at 5 p.m. contacted a 61-year-old Nikolaevsk man at his home. Troopers arrested him on two outstanding warrants.

Feb. 14

Troopers at 4 p.m. contacted a 58-year-old Homer man at a Homer bar. Troopers arrested him on an outstanding warrant for failure to contact his probation officer.

Feb. 15

Troopers at 7 p.m. went to a report of a disturbance at an Anchor Point home. Troopers allege an 18-year-old Anchor Point man assaulted family members and broke a mirror. Troopers arrested the man for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, and fifth-degree criminal mischief. Troopers allege the man resisted arrest and hit a trooper in the jaw. Troopers also charged him with fourth-degree assault and resisting arrest.

Feb. 17

Troopers at 12:36 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 32-year-old Homer woman. Troopers allege the woman had a suspended license and issued her a citation for driving while license suspended.

Troopers at 1:08 p.m. made a traffic stop in Anchor Point on a 41-year-old Homer man. Troopers allege the man possessed marijuana and issued him a citation for sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.

Troopers at 5:52 p.m. went to a car crash on the North Fork Road near Anchor Point in which an Anchor Point woman rolled her 2005 Ford Ranger pickup truck. The woman was injured and taken to South Peninsula Hospital. She did wear her seat belt.

Feb. 20

Troopers at 9 a.m. went to an Anchor Point school for the report of a disruptive boy and an assault. Troopers allege a 13-year-old boy assaulted a classmate and possessed marijuana. The boy was released to his mother and the case referred to the Office of Juvenile Justice.
