Jan. 26

Alaska State Troopers at 9:08 p.m. went to a car-moose collision near Mile 160 Sterling Highway. A 46-year-old Anchor Point man driving a Dodge pickup truck hit a moose. The man wore his seat belt and was not injured.

Troopers at 10:24 p.m. went to a car-moose collision on East End Road. A 39-year-old Voznesenka woman driving a GMC pickup truck hit a moose. The woman wore her seat belt and was not injured.

Jan. 31

Troopers at 9:55 p.m. went to a disturbance at an Anchor Point home. Troopers allege a 56-year-old Anchor Point man assaulted a family member. He was arrested and taken to the Homer Jail.

Feb. 1

Troopers at 6:40 p.m. contacted a 39-year-old Anchor Point man at a Happy Valley business. Troopers arrested the man on an outstanding warrant for failure to complete community work service on an original charge of fourth-degree weapons misconduct and reckless endangerment.

Feb. 4

Troopers at 7:14 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 25-year-old Homer man in Homer. Troopers allege the man drove while drunk and arrested him for driving under the influence.

Troopers at 9:51 p.m. went to a car-moose collision near Mile 168 Sterling Highway. A 31-year-old Homer man driving a Jeep Cherokee hit a moose. Both the driver and his passenger wore seat belts. The driver received minor cuts to one hand.

Feb. 5

Troopers at 6:37 p.m. stopped a 35-year-old Homer man in Homer for driving without his lights on. Troopers allege the man drove drunk and arrested him for DUI. He was taken to the Homer Jail.

Feb. 6

Troopers at 2:50 p.m. contacted a 44-year-old Seldovia man at his Jakolof Bay Road home for an unrelated offense and discovered he had an outstanding warrant for reckless driving, fifth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment. He was arrested and taken to the Homer Jail.

Feb. 9

Troopers at 12:50 p.m. contacted a 46-year-old Homer man at his home during an investigation. Troopers allege the man had conditions of release related to a misdemeanor charge that prohibited him for consuming alcohol and that he had consumed alcohol. Troopers arrested the man for violating conditions of release.

Troopers at 9:41 p.m. went to a car crash on East End Road near Clayton Way. Troopers said a 65-year-old Homer man ran off the road and rolled his Chevrolet pickup truck. The man wore his seat belt and was not injured.

Feb. 10

Troopers at 11:57 p.m. contacted a 43-year-old Anchor Point man in Anchor Point on a traffic stop. Troopers allege the man drove while his license was revoked. He was issued a citation and released from the scene.

Feb. 12

Troopers at 3:10 p.m. went to a traffic complaint in Ninilchik involving a 39-year-old Ninilchik woman. Troopers alleged the woman violated conditions of release on a pending case. They arrested her and took her to the Homer Jail.
